Alan stared at the telephone on his desk for a few minutes before grabbing it and personally calling Mr. Barrows himself. 

It went to his voicemail, and Alan spoke to the machine, “Hello Mr. Barrows, its Alan Rikkin. The plan we had discussed a few days earlier is good to go, I have the information required and I can have a group of men ready for orders as soon as you’d like. Give me a call back at this number and let me know. Thanks.”

Beep.
